At the age of 18, when most teenagers try to figure out what to do with life, Anwesha Dutta rocked the world of music by being crowned the 2014 season Champion of Zee Bangla SaReGaMaPa. Judge Kumar Sanu called her the “Melody Queen”, Judge Alka Yagnik thought she was a “Soulful Mystery”and Guest Judge Udit Narayan had no hesitation in declaring her to be the “biggest would be upcoming playback singer of the country. Her rendition of “Lag Jaa Gale” in the august presence of Asha Bhonsle won her heart and an opportunity to attend a Masterclass with the legend. Her melodious voice and stage presence make her one of the most sought-after performers in the Kolkata concert scene. Be it Rabindrasangeet, Bangla Adhunik songs from the Golden Age or Hindi Film songs (aka, Bollywood songs), she captures her audience from the very minute she starts singing.

Anwesha has eighteen music albums to her credit. Notable among them are her debut album, “Hok Na Kotha” (Asha Audio, Music: Raktim Sen) that is a best seller even in the USA, an Album of Tagore Songs and 10 albums released in Bangladesh. She also has several Hindi and Bengali original singles published through her YouTube Channel. Her original Hindi Music Video, ‘Tu Saath Mere’ has been a blockbuster hit in 2018.

Anwesha travels extensively for concert all around India and has the distinction of performing in the USA at Maddison Square Gardens during NABC 2016 and Atlanta Diwali Mela, 2018. She is extremely popular in Bangladesh where she was traveled over 30 times for concerts and playback recording.

Anwesha is regular as a guest on Radio and TV. She has a large number of followers on social media and YouTube where her songs have been viewed by millions.
